Responsibilities Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or concerns with enthusiasm. Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas to meet food safety standards. Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, and give correct change while adhering to cash handling procedures. Follow food handling guidelines during beverage preparation and food service to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple guests quickly without sacrificing quality or friendliness. Experience Previous barista experience in a café or food industry setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and measuring ingredients accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Experience in beverage preparation, including coffee brewing and drink service techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and excellent service standards.
