Server/Bartender

Duties Greet guests warmly, taking their orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, upselling menu items, and offering personalized recommendations to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning bar areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or traditional cashiering methods. Assist with food preparation or food handling when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods. Support the team with restaurant operations such as opening/closing duties, stocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with sanitation regulations. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally and courteously. Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced setting; strong organizational skills are a must. Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is advantageous; previous serving or host/hostess experience is beneficial. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing; ability to upsell menu items confidently to boost sales.
