Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as SpotOn. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales. Maintain a clean, organized bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards. Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations accurately during transactions. Assist with food service when necessary, including serving food or catering orders at events like banquets or private parties. Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and adherence to alcohol service regulations; respond promptly to any issues. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights in nightclubs or hospitality venues. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with retail math and cash handling is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining excellent customer service. Experience in food safety practices and food handling procedures within the food industry or restaurant environment. Background in serving alcohol responsibly, with an understanding of legal requirements for alcohol service. Proven skills in sales, upselling beverages, and creating engaging guest interactions that boost revenue.
