Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and health regulations. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and track beverage usage to ensure smooth service during busy hours. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and balance registers at the end of each shift with basic math skills. Skills Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless transaction processing. Proven experience in bartending, mixology, or related food service roles within the hospitality industry. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create welcoming atmospheres for diverse guests. Expertise in beverage recipe development, cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, and spirits experience. Familiarity with fine dining or restaurant environments, including banquet or catering experience. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods. Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry operations. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and bar management practices.
