The ideal candidate for a barback position is hardworking, reliable, and possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills. They should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a clean and organized bar area. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are key traits. Demonstrates openness to feedback and direction, with the ability to adapt and improve based on guidance. Prior experience in a bar or hospitality setting is a plus, but not required. As a member of our bar team, you will play a vital role in maintaining efficient operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Your responsibilities will include maintaining established stock levels by transporting cases of beverages from walk-in coolers to the bar and preparing requisitions as needed. You will also be responsible for ensuring a constant supply of ice, glassware, and drink garnishes, while rotating fresh fruit to maintain quality. Keeping all areas of the bar clean and organized is essential, including restocking kegs in the walk-in coolers and rotating bottled beer in reach-in coolers. Additionally, you will be tasked with emptying trash bins in the bar area and ensuring proper disposal. Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned to support overall team objectives is expected.Experience YOU will need:
High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum of 6 months of related experience Bilingualism is preferred but not required Ability to manage high-volume and stressful situations effectively Excellent communication skills for providing exceptional guest service Comfortable working in a casino environment with exposure to: Smoke Bright lightsNoise Physical Requirements:
Capability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25- 30 pounds Endurance to walk and stand throughout assigned shifts
