Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, take accurate drink and food orders, and serve with enthusiasm in a fast-paced environment Prepare and pour beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all safety standards Manage Toast POS system to process orders, payments, and cash handling efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall experience Assist with setup and breakdown of the bar area for daily operations or special events like catering or banquets Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, verify guest ages, and prevent over-serving in accordance with legal regulations Qualifications Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or retail math is highly desirable; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws; experience with brewing or catering is advantageous Flexibility to work daytime hours; previous banquet or food industry experience is beneficial TABC Required upon hire Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality in a lively environment!
