Food Service Worker - Porter United Academy of Union Union, NJ Job Details Full-time Up to $17 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications English Window cleaning Attention to detail Waste collection Food preparation Full Job Description Kitchen Responsibilities Prepare and warm up breakfast and lunch Set up and clean the dining area Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness Refill kitchen supplies as needed Follow all safety, health, and food-handling procedures Porter Responsibilities Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all surfaces Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners Wash windows Refill cleaning and restroom supplies as needed Report maintenance issues or needed repairs promptly Follow all safety and cleaning procedures Maintain a respectful and professional attitude toward staff and visitors Requirements Must speak and understand English Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Previous kitchen experience preferred No previous janitorial experience required Able to lift 25-50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day Must be dependable and punctual. Starting time is firm, and arriving late is not acceptable. Detail-oriented and responsible Able to follow directions and work independently
