Mission Focused. Solution Driven. About the Role Be the face of the dining facility for Soldiers training at Fort Bliss and the Doña Ana Range Complex. You will set up and run the serving line, keep it stocked and clean, and serve meals quickly and courteously to a large population on a tight schedule. No prior food service experience is required — we train you. What You'll Do Set up, stock, and break down serving lines, salad bars, and beverage stations Serve meals in correct portions, keeping the line moving during peak meal periods Monitor and replenish food on the line and communicate needs to the cooks Clean and sanitize serving equipment, tables, and dining areas throughout the shift Assist with to-go meal assembly, stocking, and general dining facility support as assigned What You Bring No prior experience required — food service, retail, or hospitality background is a plus Dependability and a willingness to show up on time for every scheduled shift Ability to stand and walk for a full shift and lift up to 40 lbs A courteous, service-oriented attitude toward the Soldiers you serve Must be 18 years of age or older (U.S. Government contract requirement) Ability to speak, read, and write English Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain military installation access (valid ID and clean police record within the last 12 months) Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and five-panel drug screen and receive a Hepatitis A immunization before start Availability for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays — the facility operates 7 days a week, earliest shift 3:30 AM Local candidates in the El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM area strongly preferred What We Offer Hourly pay: $19.37 per hour Overtime at 1.5x your base rate over 40 hours in a workweek, plus paid federal holidays Uniforms, PPE, non-slip footwear, and all required food handler training provided at no cost to you Crew transportation to and from the dining facility provided Anticipated start: late September 2026; assignment runs through 20 November 2026 Additional Information Position is contingent upon contract award.
