New Hope Manor in Barryville, NY is seeking an experienced Food Services Assistant to join our team to provide meals to our patients. This is not an entry-level position; experience in a kitchen/food prep setting is required. regulations Keep an uptodate inventory system for all food; perishables, nonperishables, and cookware Provide kitchen safety guidance to the patients Work with the patients on food safety, preparation, etc. Follow nutritionally balanced weekly menus, addressing the needs of vegetarians and allergies Maintain kitchen and equipment

Qualifications:

Ability to follow state, federal and DOH guidelines ServeSafe preferred Ability to multitask Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Have knowledge of nutritional guidelines and ability to apply knowledge to a menu for up to 53 patients New Hope Manor is a tobacco-free/vape free facility.
