A Busser, Banquet Worker, or Cafeteria Attendant assists with food service at a restaurant, large banquet hall or cafeteria. Removes used dishes, sets tables with clean dishes and linens, replenishes foods served at food stations or buffet tables, and provides water, coffee or other beverages for patrons.
Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and varied shifts Assists the Chef in creating and designing new and unique menu items, all while adhering to budget guidelines. Ensure all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to hospital standards. Ensure all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition. Fully understand and comply with all federal, state and county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the kitchen. Qualifications Proven experience as a line cook or relevant role Great attention to detail and creativity High school diploma or equivalent, culinary certification and food safety certification preferred Physical strength and stamina to spend long hours standing and performing repetitive motions High School education or equivalent vocational training or work experience. A minimum of one (1) year of culinary / kitchen experience is required. Work history of a skilled cook under a chef is preferred. ServSafe Certified. Work history of a skilled cook under a chef is preferred. ServSafe Certified. Shift Variable shifts with the latest shift ending at 8pm; Weekend and holiday rotation required. Every other weekend.
