- [Job Summary] We are seeking a fast, reliable, and teamwork-oriented Sushi Roll Chef / Assistant to join our team behind the Sushi Bar. Traditional sushi (Nigiri/Sashimi) work is minimal. Your primary and most important job is high-quality, efficiently crafted Sushi Rolls and maintaining a spotless sushi bar environment. [Key Responsibilities]
- High-Speed Roll Production: Must be able to roll and cut sushi rolls fast and clean during heavy rush hours.
- Daily Sushi Bar Prep and Presentation: Perform daily ingredient preparation meticulously. Must possess the ability to independently output current menu items and present creative skills for special rolls.
- Daily Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform thorough daily cleaning, wiping down the sushi bar counters, display cases, and closing duties to maintain a perfectly clean environment.
- Organization and Stocking: Keep the sushi bar area, under-counter coolers, and prep stations perfectly organized (FIFO) and stocked. [Qualifications and Requirements]
- Proven Roll-Making Skills: You must be able to roll beautifully right away. We will test your rolling skills during the interview.
- Strong Teamwork: A positive attitude with excellent communication skills to collaborate smoothly with both front-of-house (FOH) and kitchen staff.
- Strong Work Ethic and Basic Discipline: A self-starter who takes basic duties (cleaning, organizing, punctuality, and presentation) seriously without being asked.

- Flexible Options] We are looking for either ONE worker for all 4 days, OR ONE Part-time worker specifically for Friday and Saturday.

- Wednesday and Thursday: 11:00 AM
- 9:30 PM (Includes 1-hour break)
- Friday: 11:00 AM
- 10:00 PM (Includes 1-hour break)
- Saturday: 3:00 PM
- 10:00 PM (Includes 30-minute break)
- CRITICAL FUTURE REQUIREMENT
- Regardless of your shift, you MUST be flexible to work on SUNDAYS in the near future as our business expands. Sunday availability is a strict requirement for this position later on. Please do not apply if you cannot work on Sundays in the future.
