- Pastry Windward Restaurant Concepts | Vero Beach, FL Full-Time Windward Restaurant Concepts is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie
- Pastry to join our culinary team in Vero Beach.
- Prepare and execute pastries, cakes, breads, pies, desserts, and other pastry items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Support the Executive Pastry Chef in daily pastry production and service.
- Maintain high standards for presentation, consistency, flavor, and product quality.
- Decorate and finish pastries and desserts with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain proper mise en place and ensure the pastry station is fully prepared for production and service.
- Monitor product freshness, storage, labeling, dating, and FIFO inventory rotation.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of pastry ingredients and supplies.
- Assist with the development and execution of new pastry items and seasonal menu offerings.
- Help maintain production schedules and ensure pastry items are completed accurately and on time.
- Work collaboratively with Pastry Cooks and the broader culinary team to support efficient daily operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary pastry kitchen.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and health department requirements. Qualifications
- Previous professional pastry, baking, or restaurant kitchen experience.
- Strong working knowledge of pastry preparation, baking techniques, and dessert presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain consistency and attention to detail in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented approach.
- Ability to take direction from the Executive Pastry Chef and provide support to Pastry Cooks as needed.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
Pay:
$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
