The ideal candidate will possess extensive culinary expertise, strong leadership abilities, and experience in fine dining, banquet service, and food management. As a key member of our kitchen management team, the Sous Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality standards are met, and support the development of our culinary staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to contribute to a reputable establishment known for exceptional service and innovative cuisine. Responsibilities Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality. Oversee menu planning and development, incorporating dietary considerations and catering requirements. Manage inventory control and food production schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all kitchen activities. Coordinate shift management, including scheduling staff rotations and ensuring smooth service during peak hours. Oversee food handling procedures, maintaining strict adherence to food safety standards. Support catering events and banquet services with exceptional culinary execution. Collaborate with restaurant management to enhance overall guest experience through quality food service. Experience Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in culinary arts. Supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, demonstrating leadership and team management skills. Extensive banquet experience with knowledge of large-scale food production. Familiarity with inventory management, menu planning, and food safety protocols. Hands-on experience in food preparation, kitchen management, and catering operations. Knowledge of the food industry trends, hospitality standards, and culinary techniques such as cooking, serving, bartending, and food handling. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is essential; certification in culinary arts or related fields is preferred. This role is ideal for a dedicated culinary professional eager to lead a talented team while delivering exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced environment.
