Resort Realty is seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and outgoing individual to join our Reservations Department! We are currently accepting applications for a full-time, year-round Vacation Specialist at our Corolla Office. As a Vacation Specialist, your primary responsibility is to help guests find and book their perfect Outer Banks vacation rental . This is a sales-focused, customer service position for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enjoys helping people . You will play an important role in creating a positive guest experience while helping guests plan their vacations.

Responsibilities Include:

Booking weekly vacation rentals and assisting guests with finding the perfect vacation home Answering incoming phone calls, emails, and live chats Promptly following up with guest inquiries and leads through outbound calls Assisting guests with existing reservations and questions Providing friendly, knowledgeable, and exceptional customer service Assisting with front desk duties and welcoming guests during check-in Preparing guest arrival packets and assisting with other operational tasks Upselling additional services, including travel insurance, early check-in, check-out cleans, and premier linen service Assisting homeowners and vendors with basic questions and requests Maintaining accurate guest and reservation information Learning and utilizing reservation systems and sales tools

What We're Looking For:

Previous vacation rental, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus Self-motivated and sales-minded with a genuine desire to help guests Strong computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems Excellent communication, hospitality, and sales skills Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and effectively juggle multiple responsibilities at once Ability to stay organized, focused, and productive while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment Strong attention to detail and work ethic A positive, upbeat personality and team-oriented attitude Ability and willingness to work summer weekends required Some limited evening work may be required Specific job training is provided, and we are willing to train the right person! We are looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, personable, organized, and eager to learn. Experience in the vacation rental industry is not required if you have the right attitude and willingness to grow.

Pay:

From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
