GUEST SERVICE RANGER, FAMILY BASED ATTRACTION
Job description
Location:
Dinosaur Outpost at Town Square As a Guest Service Ranger at Dinosaur Outpost, you will be responsible for: Providing exceptional customer service Assisting guests throughout their visit Looking after our herd of Dinosaurs Your friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and ability to address guest needs will contribute to creating positive and enjoyable experiences for our guests. This job description outlines the primary responsibilities and qualifications required for the position.
Responsibilities:

Guest Engagement:
Welcome guests warmly and create a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Engage with guests, answer their questions, and assist with inquiries. 2.
Ticketing and Admissions:
Sell tickets, memberships, and packages accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Verify and process admission tickets and waivers. 3.
Information and Assistance:
Provide accurate information about attractions, services, activities, and events. Assist guests in making decisions to enhance their experience. 4.
Guest Relations:
Build rapport with guests and develop positive relationships. Address guest concerns, complaints, or issues in a professional and empathetic manner. 5.
Queue Management:
Organize and manage queues for attractions and activities to ensure efficient guest flow. Implement crowd control measures during peak times. 6.
Upselling and Promotions:
Promote special offers, events, and upgrades to enhance the guest experience. Encourage additional purchases and enhancements as appropriate. 7.
Membership and Loyalty Program Support:
Assist guests in joining loyalty programs, memberships, and special clubs. Explain benefits and provide relevant information. 8.
Transactions:
Process credit card, and electronic payments accurately using the POS system. 9.
Guest Feedback Collection:
Solicit and collect guest feedback to improve services and offerings. Document guest comments and relay them to management for consideration. 10.
Event Support:
Assist in event coordination, setup, and support during special events and parties. Clean and prep for the following days operations. Deliver offerings to party rooms. Assist party rooms with set-up and breakdown procedures. 12.
Dinosaurs:
Clean, groom and care for Dinosaurs. Handle and show baby Dinosaurs to our guests.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hospitality, entertainment, or service-oriented setting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests of all ages. Positive attitude and customer-focused approach, with a willingness to go the extra mile. Strong problem-solving skills to address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests. Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems for transaction processing. Ability to manage queues and guest flow during busy periods. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operational needs of the family-based attraction.
