Job Description

Summary of Essential Functions for the
Position:
Committed to caring, the Office Specialist is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day activities of a multi-faceted home health agency to ensure smooth and efficient office operations and positive patient relations. Works closely with the Executive Director, Director of Clinical Services, and Regional VP of Clinical Ops, in conjunction with staff, referral sources, vendors, and outside resources to assist in the coordination of care, ordering of medical and office supplies, and patient referrals. Additionally, this role performs scheduling duties and responsibilities in start-up locations Qualifications / Licensure / Certification / Knowledge / Skills /
Abilities:
Experience in home health preferred Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must be well organized and demonstrate attention to detail Ability to work within a team environment and with deadlines Strong communication skills, both oral and written with excellent interpersonal skills Acceptance and ability to demonstrate and support the core values and goals of Agency Must demonstrate good customer relations skills and a commitment to providing quality service Proficient with a computer and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software Valid driver's license, automobile liability insurance and reliable transportation required Travel may be required
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Work environment is busy and can be stressful at times. The position requires visual acuity and dexterity, sitting, standing, some pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Auto related accidents possible.
