Job Description
Job Overview:
Come help prepare food to the Chefs' specifications and prep items daily for service. Prep cook duties will consist of working both independently and with the team while remaining focused and efficient with their daily tasks. You will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and retention goals through the consistency and cleanliness of the preparation of the food.Duties:
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service Prep menu items both independently and with the rest of the kitchen staff Answer, report and follow executive, sous chef, or lead line's instructions Clean up station and take care of leftover food Stock inventory appropriately Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customersSkills:
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Willingness to learn and develop new culinary skill Monday-Friday 7am-3pm Benefits Employee discount anytime you're in Medical Health Insurance- Dental Insurance
