Responsibilities Food Preparation:

Prep ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes.

Equipment Operation:

Safely operate kitchen tools including ovens, grills, and slicers.

Kitchen Upkeep:

Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized workstations throughout the shift.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely service.

Food Safety:

Practice proper safe food handling, portioning, and storage techniques.

Event Support:

Assist with catering or large-quantity meal requests as needed.

Menu Input:

Provide feedback on ingredient availability and basic prep techniques.

Qualifications & Experience Industry Experience:

Previous experience cooking in a restaurant, catering, or dietary department setting.

Technical Skills:

Proven skills in food prep, recipe adherence, and safe knife handling.

Equipment Knowledge:

Familiarity with standard commercial kitchen equipment.

Sanitation Knowledge:

Understanding of food safety management and health department standards.
