  • Available Shifts Casual Days Cook Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals according to menu guidelines, ensuring residents' nutritional needs are met Assist with ordering food and supplies as needed Monitor and record food temperatures; verify quality prior to service Maintain organized inventory by properly sorting, labeling, and dating food and supplies Uphold a clean and safe kitchen environment through proper sanitation and waste disposal practices Oversee the sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, and food service spaces Update and maintain menu boards for residents Support the Food Service Manager with hiring, onboarding, training, and supervising dietary staff Cook Benefits Earned Safe & Sick Time Off 401K with Company Match Employee Referral Bonus Tuition Reimbursement & Scholarship Opportunities Qualifications Cook Qualifications MN Food Protection Manager certificate preferred Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing One year experience as a cook preparing food in a long-term care setting preferred Ability to wok as a team member and resolve problem situations constructively Experience working with seniors preferred
