Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to a positive dining experience. This role requires a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You would help assist Chefs Justin & Chris and learn new skills along the way. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring variety and quality in meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and efficient workflow. Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs as required. Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with meal preparation and service. Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Experience in meal preparation, including familiarity with various cooking methods. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
