Responsibilities Prepare and assemble pizza dough, toppings, sauces, and cheeses with precision and consistency. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently. Follow established recipes and menu specifications to ensure product quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas in accordance with food safety procedures. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties or seasonal toppings. Manage high-volume production during peak hours while maintaining speed and accuracy. Adhere strictly to food handling protocols, including proper storage, portioning, and ingredient rotation. Requirements Prior experience in food preparation or culinary roles within a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and food production processes. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food safety management practices. Experience operating kitchen equipment safely in a fast-paced setting. Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining flexibility for special requests or dietary needs. Excellent food handling skills with an understanding of dietary department standards if applicable. Previous experience in high-volume production environments or fine dining establishments is a plus.
