About Lush Popcorn At Lush Popcorn, quality starts with the product. We are looking for a dependable, focused, and detail-oriented Popcorn Cook to prepare our gourmet popcorn from scratch while maintaining high standards for taste, consistency, food safety, and presentation. This is a hands-on production role in a hot, active, and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with food, can follow recipes precisely, stays organized, and takes pride in producing a consistent, high-quality product. What You'll Do Prepare gourmet popcorn from scratch by accurately following recipes, measurements, and production procedures Operate popcorn-making equipment and other food production tools safely and correctly Monitor cooking times, temperatures, ingredients, and batch quality to ensure consistency Measure and portion ingredients accurately Inspect finished products to ensure they meet Lush Popcorn's quality standards Bag, label, package, and prepare finished popcorn for retail, online, and wholesale orders Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality control requirements Clean and sanitize cooking equipment, utensils, workstations, and production areas Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked production space Track ingredients, supplies, finished products, and production needs Assist with inventory management and communicate when ingredients or supplies are running low Help fulfill customer, online, wholesale, and special orders accurately and on time Follow store policies, procedures, recipes, and production standards Work independently and with team members to meet daily production goals Assist with other shop duties as needed to support smooth operations What We're Looking For Ability to read, understand, and accurately follow recipes Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency Basic math and measurement skills Previous cooking, kitchen, food production, bakery, manufacturing, or food service experience preferred Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy Dependable, responsible, and able to take initiative Strong time management and organizational skills Fast learner with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and move heavier ingredients, supplies, and products as required Comfortable working around heat and in a fast-paced production environment Flexibility to work based on business needs, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Why Join Lush Popcorn?
