Dishwasher Full Time

Alisal, a luxury 10,500 private acre working Ranch and Resort in the heart of Santa Barbara Wine Country is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Dishwasher. This position entails operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools, including the dishwashing machine, hand washing stations, pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor. Washing and disinfecting kitchen and storeroom areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment. Receiving deliveries, storing perishables properly, and rotating stock. Ensuring clean wares are stored in appropriate areas. Using detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink to clean dishes. Inspecting, pulling, and stacking cleaned items, sending soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing. Racking and spraying all racked items with hot water to loosen and remove food residue. Sorting, soaking, and washing/re-washing silverware. Breaking down dirty bus tubs. Emptying and maintaining trashcans and dumpster area. Cleaning and moping all areas in assigned departments. Disposing of glass in the proper containers. Breaking down cardboard boxes and placing them and other recyclables in the recycle bin. Following all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; reporting maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; completing safety training and certifications. Protecting company assets. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others; supporting team goals. Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Prior Cleaning/Kitchen experience a plus. Desire to establish outstanding, authentic, and memorable interactions with internal and external guests. Integrity, dependability, and adaptability. Skilled at multi-tasking, heightened attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and organization. Commitment to confidentiality. Ability to lift, push, and pull minimum 50 lbs. Able to work on site and to stand, sit, walk, and move continuously for duration of shift. Ability to work outside, indoors, in varying temperatures.
