Dishwasher / Kitchen Utility — New Restaurant Opening DiBlasi's Food & Drink — Reading, MA $16-$19/hour, depending on experience DiBlasi's Food & Drink is a brand-new neighborhood restaurant opening in downtown Reading, MA, and we're looking for a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher / Kitchen Utility team member to join our opening crew. This is an important role in a small kitchen. We're looking for someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, organized and moving — and who is willing to jump in wherever needed. Because we're opening from scratch, this is a chance to be part of the team from day one and grow with the restaurant as we get busier. DiBlasi's is a neighborhood-focused restaurant with Italian roots, serving fresh pasta, hand-stretched pizza, sandwiches, steaks, chicken, seafood and elevated comfort food. We're building a kitchen culture based on teamwork, reliability and respect. What you'll do: Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment Keep the dish station clean, organized and stocked Return clean items quickly to the proper stations Help maintain clean floors, work areas and trash/recycling areas Assist with kitchen opening and closing cleaning Help with light food prep and other kitchen-support tasks as needed Work closely with cooks and managers to keep service moving Help with general cleaning and organization throughout the restaurant as needed What we're looking for: Dependable and punctual Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen Able to stay organized during busy periods Willing to help wherever needed Comfortable lifting, bending and being on your feet for extended periods Able to work nights and weekends Positive attitude and good teamwork Prior restaurant experience is helpful, but not required for the right person What we offer: $16-$19/hour depending on experience Full-time and part-time opportunities Employee meals during scheduled shifts Employee food discount Paid sick time in accordance with Massachusetts law Opportunity to learn prep and line-cook skills Opportunity for advancement as the restaurant grows The chance to join a brand-new restaurant opening team from day one We value the dishwasher position because a restaurant cannot run well without someone strong in this role.
