DiBlasi's Food & Drink — Reading, MA $15

•18/hour, depending on experience DiBlasi's Food & Drink is a brand-new neighborhood restaurant opening in downtown Reading, MA, and we're looking for friendly, organized Counter / Pickup / Host team members to help run the front of the house. This role is the first point of contact for many of our guests, whether they're walking in for dinner, picking up takeout, calling with a question, or ordering lunch at the counter. We're looking for people who are welcoming, calm under pressure, and good at keeping several things moving at once. Because we're opening from scratch, this is a chance to join the team from day one and help shape how DiBlasi's welcomes and takes care of guests. DiBlasi's is a neighborhood-focused restaurant with Italian roots, serving fresh pasta, hand-stretched pizza, sandwiches, steaks, chicken, seafood, cocktails and approachable comfort food. We're building a service culture that feels warm, relaxed, efficient and genuinely local. What you'll do: Greet guests and help manage the flow of the dining room Handle takeout and pickup orders Answer phones and assist guests with menu questions Enter orders accurately into the POS system Process payments Organize and verify takeout orders before handing them to guests or delivery drivers Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to keep orders moving Help manage third-party delivery orders such as Uber Eats Assist with seating, wait lists and reservations when needed Keep the counter, pickup area and entrance clean and organized Help with light side work and general FOH support as needed What we're looking for: Friendly, professional and comfortable talking with guests Dependable and punctual Organized and able to multitask Comfortable using a POS system and handling payments Able to stay calm and accurate during busy periods Strong communication skills Willing to help wherever needed Available for some nights and weekends Prior restaurant, retail, customer service or host experience is helpful, but not required What we offer: $15
