Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Community Outreach & Event Assistant to support nonprofit fundraising campaigns, community outreach initiatives, and live event promotions throughout the area. In this role, you will represent nonprofit organizations at community events, fundraising campaigns, retail activations, and public outreach locations. You'll engage directly with community members, educate the public about important causes, build relationships with supporters, and help generate donations that support meaningful programs and services. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in community outreach, fundraising, event marketing, nonprofit promotions, public relations, communications, and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent nonprofit organizations at fundraising events, community outreach campaigns, and promotional activations Engage with community members to educate them about nonprofit missions, programs, and initiatives Build positive relationships with supporters, donors, and community partners Assist with fundraising efforts and donor acquisition activities Help coordinate event setup, displays, promotional materials, and outreach logistics Support community engagement campaigns that increase awareness and participation Track outreach results and campaign performance metrics Work collaboratively with team members to achieve fundraising and community engagement goals Maintain a professional, energetic, and mission-focused presence at all events
Qualifications :
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, outgoing, and confident personality Ability to work effectively in a team environment Positive attitude and willingness to learn Comfortable engaging with new people in face-to-face settings Strong organizational and time-management skills Reliable transportation is preferred Preferred Experience (Not Required): Community outreach Fundraising or nonprofit involvement Event coordination or event staffing Customer service Retail, hospitality, or public-facing roles Marketing, communications, or public relations Volunteer experience with community organizations
