As the Venue Sales & Experience Manager , your role is primarily focused on operational event management, team mentorship, and high-touch experience oversight (75%), balanced with targeted commercial sales efforts (25%) to maximize facility utilization. In this multifaceted management role, you will spend the majority of your time empowering a team of coordinators, directing seamless event execution, and elevating member programming, while actively managing a targeted sales pipeline for private and corporate gatherings. Working closely with our marketing and culinary teams, you will maintain our reputation for refined resort living and operational excellence. Duties 1. Event Management, Experience & Leadership (75% of Role)
Team Supervision & Mentorship:
Direct, mentor, and support the daily activities of the Lifestyle and Events Coordinators, ensuring flawless execution of all club programming and community functions. 2. Venue Sales & Revenue Generation (25% of Role)Targeted Event Sales:
Prospect, pitch, and close sales for private bookings, corporate functions, and upscale community gatherings to ensure optimal venue utilization.Client Consultation:
Conduct personalized venue tours, draft tailored proposals, and guide prospective clients through initial booking contracts.Brand Ambassadorship:
Represent the Monarch Club lifestyle during local networking opportunities and showcase events to maintain a steady pipeline of private venue inquiries.Candidate Profile & Qualifications Professional Background:
3-5+ years of progressive management experience in event production, hospitality operations, high-end country clubs, or resort management.Balanced Skill Set:
Heavy expertise in event logistics, team leadership, and administrative oversight, paired with proven success in active event sales and client relations.Leadership Capability:
Demonstrated ability to manage, develop, and support coordinating staff while maintaining a collaborative, team-first culture.Financial & Tech Savvy:
Proficient in budget tracking, vendor contract negotiation, Microsoft Office Suite, and specialized club management software (e.g., Northstar).Communication & Demeanor:
Outstanding interpersonal skills, infectious positive energy, and a commitment to upholding luxury service standards in a fast-paced environment.On-Site Production & Live Execution:
Maintain end-to-end operational oversight across the entire lifecycle of events. Serve as the senior manager on duty during major functions to handle live troubleshooting, direct staff, and ensure white-glove service.Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Partner with the Communications Manager to produce engaging call-to-action promotions (emails, social media, flyers) that drive high participation and keep the social calendar vibrant.Food & Beverage Integration:
Collaborate continuously with F&B leadership and culinary teams to align banquet operations, customize catering options, and ensure smooth execution during lifestyle events and private buyouts.Fiscal & Vendor Administration:
Oversee department budgets, track expenses, negotiate third-party vendor and entertainment contracts, and report financial metrics directly to the General Manager.Systems & Workflow Management:
Utilize club management software (Northstar) to maintain event logistics, manage facility schedules, track spending trends, and streamline team workflows.
