Job Description

We're looking to add an Events Assistant to our Wilmington team to help with the day-to-day running of promotional events and customer campaigns. This is a hands-on role where you'll be working at different event locations, helping with set-up, speaking with members of the public, answering questions about the campaigns you're representing, and making sure everything runs smoothly throughout the day. No two events are exactly the same. Some days you'll be preparing displays before visitors arrive, while on others you'll spend most of your time talking with customers, helping them find information, or supporting the wider team during busier periods.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the set-up and pack-down of event spaces Greeting visitors and answering general questions Supporting promotional activities and product demonstrations Keeping displays clean, organised, and well presented Working alongside colleagues to make sure events run to schedule Providing feedback after each event when needed We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is happy to be on their feet for most of the day, and can be relied on to turn up ready to get involved. You don't need previous events experience, as training is provided before you start. This is a full-time, on-site Events Assistant position based in Wilmington, working Monday to Friday with regular daytime hours. Some days will be spent at different event venues across the local area, so being flexible with travel during the working day is helpful. We'll be reviewing applications as they're received and will contact shortlisted applicants to arrange an interview.
