Hourly $18- 20 plus generous tips
Position Summary:
Thousand Islands Winery is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Events Manager to lead the soliciting, planning, coordination, and execution of its onsite events. This position reports to the Tasting Room Manager and works closely with the Marketing Team to deliver exceptional event experiences that elevate the winery's brand and expand its presence with strong customer focus and creativity.Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Representation Provide leadership, guidance, and scheduling support to the Event Staff Represent Thousand Islands Winery with professionalism and enthusiasm at all eventsEvent Planning & Execution:
Develop and implement creative concepts for new onsite events to enhance brand visibility Ensure all vendors meet legal and safety requirements, including proper licensing and insurance Oversee full event lifecycle: soliciting, planning, setup, execution, and breakdown Maintain and prepare winery facilities, signage, and equipment for eventsMarketing & Communication:
Collaborate with the Marketing Team to promote events via social media, website, and traditional media channels Communicate event updates and staffing needs to the Tasting Room Manager and President Create and distribute event timelines and task assignmentsInventory & Reporting:
Manage inventory of beverages, food, merchandise, and event supplies Conduct pre- and post-event inventory checks and reconcile sales using Square POS Maintain accurate records of all events and provide post-event recommendations
Customer Service & Support:
Assist in the Tasting Room as needed, including conducting tastings, answering phones, and managing reservations Ensure all event spaces are clean, organized, and guest-ready before, during, and after eventsQualifications:
Experience in event coordination, preferably in the hospitality or wine industry Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and deliver outstanding customer service Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Square POS Flexible schedule required, including some evenings and weekendsJob Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$18.00- $20.
