Position Summary:
Coordinates and executes organizational events under general direction. Manages detailed logistics, schedules, vendor and venue arrangements, event communications, registration and materials, budget tracking, volunteer coordination, on-site delivery, and post-event follow-up. Independently handles routine to moderately complex events or defined workstreams, escalates significant risks or exceptions, and works with internal and external stakeholders to deliver consistent, service-focused event experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in event management, communications, marketing, or a related field (Required) One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education. 2+ years of experience in event planning, donor relations, or a related field (Required) Working knowledge of event timelines, logistics, vendor coordination, budget tracking, and on-site operations. Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, discretion, and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management or registration tools. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Salary Range:
Minimum 25.32/hour - Maximum 40.52/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority. The Hospital reserves the right to modify employee schedules as needed.
