Part-Time Social Media & Events Coordinator $24/hour + Commission

Job Description

Job Overview Part-Time Web, Social Media & Events Coordinator The Factory St. Pete | St. Petersburg, FL Approximately 15-30 hours per week | $25-30/hour plus event commissions The Factory St. Pete is a creative campus in the Warehouse Arts District, home to artists, galleries, fitness and recreation businesses, retail, food and beverage concepts, and community events. We're looking for a creative, organized and dependable person to keep our website current, build our social-media presence and help attract and coordinate events. This is a hands-on role for someone who can create strong content, enjoys a flexible schedule and can work independently. This position may have the opportunity to become a full-time, salaried position with commission potential in the future for the right applicant. Responsibilities Create and schedule engaging social-media posts, stories, photos and short-form videos Visit Factory tenants regularly to gather content and promote their businesses, events and announcements Respond to comments and messages and monitor basic engagement results Keep website content, tenant listings and the event calendar current Respond to event inquiries, conduct property tours and follow up with potential clients Help sell, promote and coordinate events Organize event contracts, deposits, insurance documents, vendors and deadlines Assist with occasional evening or weekend events Qualifications Two or more years of experience in social media, marketing, hospitality, events or a related field Strong writing, photography and basic video-editing skills Comfortable using Instagram, Facebook and Canva or similar creative tools Basic WordPress or Elementor experience preferred Organized, responsive and able to manage multiple projects without constant supervision Familiarity with St. Petersburg's arts, hospitality, nightlife or small-business community is a plus Reliable transportation and availability to work both on-site at The Factory and off-site Compensation $25-30 per hour for approximately 15-30 hours per week Additional approved hours when needed for events 3% commission on collected venue-rental revenue from incoming event leads managed and closed 7% commission on collected venue-rental revenue from new event business personally generated Potential opportunity to transition to a full-time salaried position with commission potential in the future for the right applicant To apply, please send your résumé, links or examples of social-media content you have created, and a brief description of your event or marketing experience.
