This role is ideal for students who are enthusiastic about campus life, enjoy working with people, and are interested in gaining hands-on experience in event coordination.
Essential Job Functions Key Responsibilities :
Assist with event setup and teardown (tables, chairs, signage, decorations, etc.) Provide on-site support during events (registration, ushering, crowd control, etc.) Maintain inventory of event supplies and equipment Ensure cleanliness and organization of event spaces before and after use Communicate effectively with event staff, vendors, and attendees Perform other duties as assigned by the
Event Coordinator Minimum and Desired Qualifications Qualifications :
Currently enrolled as a student at Lamar University Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
