WHAT YOU'LL DO
Exemplifies Muckleshoot Casino Resort's values and sets a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism. Serve as the operational lead for assigned events while ensuring compliance with established event plans, brand standards, and departmental procedures. Plan, coordinate, and execute casino special events, entertainment programs, VIP experiences, community events, and other marketing initiatives under the direction of the Promotions and Events Manager. Develop detailed event timelines, task lists, operations plan, and logistical schedules. Assist the Promotions and Events Manager with implementing approved event concepts and even concepts and marketing initiatives to increase guest engagement, visitation, and loyalty. Coordinate event operations with internal departments to ensure successful event implementation and execution. Serve as an on-site event lead, ensuring events are executed according to established plans and brand standards. Coordinate guest registrations, event participation, and distribution of event-related materials and giveaways. Prepare purchase requisitions and coordinate vendor setup through Finance. Process checks requests and assists with event purchasing activities. Maintain event files, timelines, vendor information, invoices, historical records, and operational documentation. Partner with Marketing and Creative teams to assist in the development of event advertising, promotional materials, signage, and collateral. Monitor event performance and provide recommendations for future event enhancements and improvements. Advise management of project tasks, assignments, event status, and operational needs. Build and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, entertainers, community partners, and internal stakeholders. Ensure assigned events are executed in accordance with departmental procedures, gaming regulations, internal controls, and organizational policies. Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive and safe work environment; promote positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel. Performs other job duties as required.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
AA/AS or BS/BA Degree in Marketing or related field preferred. Extensive marketing promotions and player development with strong analytical experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements. Three (3) years of event coordination, special events, hospitality, and casino marketing experience required or similar experience in the entertainment/hospitality field. Strong public speaking experience required. Experience with Microsoft Office applications required. Experience with database marketing systems preferred. Ability to obtain a Class IIIA gaming license.
