This role involves preparing high-quality coffee beverages, assembling delicious sandwiches, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and beverage service, possess strong multitasking skills, and have experience working with POS systems. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in the food industry while delivering a welcoming experience to our customers. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks using espresso machines and other equipment, ensuring quality and consistency. Assemble sandwiches, salads, and other food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all food preparation areas. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, ingredients, and supplies; restock as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and retail math calculations. Follow food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist with cleaning duties, including sanitizing workstations, equipment, and dining areas. Experience Previous barista experience is preferred, with familiarity using espresso machines and coffee brewing methods. Experience working with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques in a café or food service environment. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing sales transactions. Experience in serving or food preparation roles within the food industry is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
