Job Description

Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and assisting with seating arrangements in a busy restaurant or hotel environment. If you have a passion for hospitality and customer service, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with seating options. Manage reservations efficiently using the POS system. Assist in coordinating the flow of guests to ensure optimal seating and minimize wait times. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service. Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and assigned areas. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. Support the restaurant team during busy periods by assisting with guest services as needed. Experience Previous experience in a guest-facing role within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, but not mandatory; training will be provided. A positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
