JOB OVERVIEW

The Host is the first impression of La Condesa and sets the tone for every guest experience. You'll welcome guests with warmth, manage the flow of the dining room, and keep service running smoothly alongside the rest of the team. This role is equal parts hospitality, organization, and communication; you'll juggle reservations, wait times, and guest needs while creating an experience that feels effortless from the moment someone walks through the door.

What you'll doWelcome every guest with genuine hospitality and make them feel at home from the moment they arrive.

Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating to keep service flowing efficiently.

Escort guests to their tables while communicating important reservation notes to the service team.

Maintain accurate table statuses and provide realistic wait time expectations.

Help create memorable guest experiences by anticipating needs and personalizing service whenever possible.

Answer questions about the menu, neighborhood, parking, and local recommendations.

Keep the host stand, entrance, restrooms, and surrounding areas clean, organized, and guest-ready.

Support table resets and assist the team wherever needed during service.

Address guest concerns professionally and partner with managers to resolve issues quickly.

Communicate clearly with the service team to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Follow all health, safety, and cleanliness standards.

Jump in wherever needed; great hospitality is a team sport.
