Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, where your energy and dedication will create memorable experiences for our guests from the moment they arrive. In this pivotal role, you will be the welcoming face of our hotel, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining a friendly, professional atmosphere. Your multitasking skills and hospitality expertise will drive guest satisfaction and uphold our reputation for excellence in hospitality management. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and assisting with check-in/check-out procedures using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms. Manage multiple-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests efficiently while maintaining professional phone etiquette. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest needs promptly, resolving issues with customer service problem-solving skills, and ensuring guest relations are prioritized at all times. Utilize hospitality reservation systems to confirm bookings, modify reservations, and communicate availability clearly to guests. Assist guests with hotel services including room assignments, special requests, and information about hotel amenities or local attractions. Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety during incidents or emergencies while maintaining calmness and professionalism. Support night audit processes by reconciling daily transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in financial records. Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of front desk operations and contribute to a welcoming resort environment. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel management or front desk operations within a hospitality environment; resort experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable platforms. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem-solving capabilities. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to handle urgent situations confidently. Experience working with multi-line phone systems and managing phone communication professionally. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment. Hospitality management background with knowledge of front desk operations, guest services, and hotel management best practices is preferred.
