Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth check-in and check-out processes. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Please note the Hotel Location before applying. It is Hideaway Hotel 5416 South Long beach Boulevard (Holgate).The role will extend into the fall with anticipated end date in October. Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor. Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information. Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software. Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities. Maintain guest accounts by processing payments and managing billing inquiries. Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and effectively to ensure guest satisfaction. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when answering calls and directing inquiries appropriately. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations. Proficiency in hotel management software is preferred; familiarity with phone systems is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest information. Previous experience in hospitality or front desk operations is advantageous but not required.
