Morning (7am-3pm) and evening (3pm-11pm); weekend and holiday availability required About the Job We're a 66-room Fairfield Inn & Suites in Draper, right between Salt Lake and Provo. We're a small property with a close team, which means the front desk isn't just a check-in counter — you're the face of the hotel. You'll welcome guests when they arrive, take care of them while they're here, and be the person they remember when they leave a review. We're looking for someone friendly, dependable, and steady under pressure. Hotel experience is nice but not required — we'd rather hire a great person and teach them the systems than the other way around. What You'll Actually Do Welcome guests and handle check-ins and check-outs accurately and warmly Process payments, post charges, and keep your cash drawer balanced Answer phones, take reservations, and respond to Marriott Bonvoy app requests Solve problems — a room issue, a billing question, a late-night request — and follow through until it's fixed Keep the front desk and lobby communicating with housekeeping and maintenance so rooms are ready when guests are Enroll guests in Marriott Bonvoy and recognize our elite members Keep the lobby and market pantry tidy, stocked, and welcoming Pitch in around the hotel when needed — at a property our size, everyone helps everyone What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Customer service experience of any kind — retail, restaurants, hospitality all count Comfortable on a computer; experience with a hotel system (FOSSE, Opera, LightSpeed) is a bonus, not a requirement Good communicator who stays calm and kind when things get busy Reliable, with flexible availability including weekends and holidays Physical Requirements Standing for most of an 8-hour shift Occasionally lifting or carrying up to 25 lbs What You Get Marriott's Explore employee rate — deeply discounted rooms at thousands of Marriott hotels worldwide, for you and your family
