Job Description

We are seeking an incredible, 5-star service leader for our guests, unit owners, and, most importantly, the North Shore Inn Family (our team members). The schedule is flexible, and we simply look for someone to be able to support the teams, owners, and guests with their needs. The chosen leader will be required to assist with typical operations of a hotel/lodging facility like covering Front Desk shifts, organizing the housekeeping team, assisting with the cleaning/preparing of units, and preparing regular performance and financial reports. The chosen leader will be locally assisted daily by the Superior Hospitality leadership team, which has over 45 years of hotel experience, providing you hands-on insight and guidance on everything you can think of in the world of hotel operations. Our leaders are given freedom to make their own decisions, and we work closely with them for the overall success of the property and all of our team members. In addition to the salary that is determined, there will be a performance-based bonus available that could result in an additional 10% + of the base salary See below for more information and expectations. PURPOSE:
To provide a profitable hotel environment emphasizing sales, guest satisfaction, team member satisfaction, and a high quality product.
Essential Functions:
Understand and administer maximizing room revenue with the implementation of revenue management strategies. Be responsible for producing and reporting any reports required by the home office. Process team member payroll information. Assume responsibilities for accounts receivable and payable functions. Provide immediate response to charge-back requests. Investigate and resolve all guest and team member complaints promptly. Be responsible for the administration of our condo association and condo owners monthly statements. Ensure guests are greeted in a friendly manner at all times. Be accountable for the overall performance of the superior guest services and staff friendliness. Possess skills required to operate all aspects of the front office systems. Supervise all team members to include recruiting, scheduling, training, and evaluating work performance to achieve maximum results. Administrate all groups and corporate sales functions of property. Inspect reservations on a daily basis to ensure accuracy and guest satisfaction.
Additional Duties:
Assist guests and associates in an emergency situation. Knowledgeable of all positions in the hotel as necessary to maintain operations. Additional duties as assigned by the management company,
Superior Hospitality Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
3-5 years of hotel or short-term rental experience is strongly preferred Extensive experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, spreadsheets (including knowledge and use of formulas and formatting) and computer skills in general Physical ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, reach, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity to inspect and monitor cleaning standards, advertising materials, and financial statements. Good written and verbal skills to communicate to guests and associates. High school education (or equivalent) required. Ability to read and follow directions.
