General Manager Responsibilities:

Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train hotel staff Oversee daily hotel operations and staffing Provide timely performance evaluations, coaching, counseling, and employee terminations in accordance with policy Maintain a visible, approachable presence for guests and ensure a high level of service across all departments Uphold professionalism and courtesy in all guest interactions Maintain appropriate staffing levels in alignment with budget guidelines

General Manager Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities Proven supervisory and leadership skills Extensive knowledge of hotel operations and the hospitality industry Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Ability to demonstrate genuine hospitality to guests and team members
