Job Description

A well-established, nationally branded hotel in the Memphis area is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the property through its next stage of growth. This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on hotel leader who wants more than simply maintaining day-to-day operations. The property is undergoing improvements, and the incoming General Manager will have the opportunity to strengthen the team, elevate the guest experience, improve financial performance, and help position the hotel for long-term success. What You'll Be Responsible For Provide visible, hands-on leadership throughout the hotel Recruit, develop, and retain a strong management and hourly team Build a culture of accountability, hospitality, and consistent execution Drive revenue, profitability, guest satisfaction, and brand performance Manage labor, expenses, forecasting, and overall hotel financial results Partner with sales and revenue management to grow market share Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety requirements, and company policies Oversee property improvements and maintain productive vendor relationships Communicate clearly and effectively with ownership and senior leadership What We're Looking For Previous experience as a hotel General Manager Branded hotel experience strongly preferred Proven success improving hotel operations and financial performance Strong understanding of hotel budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and revenue strategy A leadership style that is professional, approachable, and accountable Ability to develop employees and create a stable, service-focused team Experience managing renovations or property improvement projects is a plus Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Why Consider This Opportunity?
