Job Description
We're looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead daily operations and drive the strategic direction of our hotel. This role calls for someone who thrives on creating exceptional guest experiences, fostering a high-performing team, and ensuring every department runs smoothly and profitably. As General Manager, you'll be deeply involved in all facets of hotel operations—from front-of-house to back-of-house—and serve as a key point of contact for team members, guests, and external partners. You'll help shape a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. The right candidate will be a natural leader, a clear communicator, and a team builder who leads by example. We're looking for someone who knows how to balance operational efficiency with an uncompromising standard of guest service. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in strengthening our reputation and growing our loyal clientele. Responsibilities Supervise work at all levels (front desk, kitchen, housekeeping, and managerial staff) and set clear objectives Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model Manage budgets/expenses, analyze and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits Develop and implement an intuitive and efficient marketing strategy to promote the hotel's services Communicate with customers when appropriate (welcome them in the facilities, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offer information etc.) Deal with maintenance issues, shortages in staff or equipment, renovations etc. Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, travel agencies, event/conference planners etc. Inspect facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards Key Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership role within a hotel Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong asset Deep understanding of hotel operations, hospitality best practices, and applicable laws and compliance standards Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) is a plus Exceptional customer service approach combined with a strong business acumen Skilled in strategic decision-making, operational problem-solving, and crisis management Calm under pressure, able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail Inspirational leadership style with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
