The Head Housekeeper is responsible for managing our Housekeeping Department and ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in guestrooms and public areas. This role will play a critical hand in executing the comfortable and enjoyable guest experience that we take pride in, while providing a positive work environment for all our team members.

Responsibilities:

Manage and assign room needs to the housekeeping team Report all maintenance issues to the Assistant and General Manager, along with the maintenance staff Work closely with other managers and front desk staff regarding customer complaints Monitor supplies and inventory Ensure all equipment is in proper working order Audit all rooms to ensure they meet our cleanliness standards Supervise the laundry department and train on use of chemicals Assist team as needed when issues arise, or short staffing issues occur Foster a positive attitude and seek out new ways to improve the housekeeping department

Qualifications:

At least 1 year of management experience Must possess excellent leadership, organizing, and customer service skills One year of previous housekeeping supervisor experience is not required but preferred
