Job Summary After excelling at and mastering the skills necessary to be a housekeeping room attendant, approximately 3-6 months, grow into a role of housekeeping inspector. An inspector checks cleaned guest rooms to ensure they meet hotel quality, cleanliness, and safety standards before new guests arrive.

Room Inspections:

Evaluate guest check-out and stay-over rooms for cleanliness, proper amenities, and working equipment.

Status Updates:

Update the property management system or notify the front desk when rooms are clean and vacant or ready for occupancy.

Staff Guidance:

Train, coach, and evaluate room attendants on their cleaning performance.

Maintenance Reporting:

Submit work orders for broken equipment, room damage, or maintenance concerns.

Floor Management:

Oversee clean hallways, storage closets, and linen inventory. Required Skills and Qualifications Attention to

Spot flaws in dusting, linen placement, and bathroom sanitization.

Communication:

Speak clearly with the front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping staff via radio or phone.

Experience:

Prior work as a housekeeping room attendant or in hospitality operations.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to walk, stand, and bend during long shifts while inspecting 30 to 40 rooms daily. Cleaning of rooms will be expected.

Pay:

$15.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 35.0 per week
