We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individual to join our aircraft engine shop as an Aircraft Engine Parts Cleaner / Shop Technician. This position is responsible for cleaning and preparing aircraft engine parts and components for inspection, repair, and overhaul. The employee will use various cleaning methods and shop equipment, including a bead blasting cabinet. On-site training will be provided, and all necessary tools and equipment will be supplied by the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

Clean aircraft engine parts and components in preparation for inspection, repair, or overhaul. Operate a bead blasting cabinet and other cleaning equipment. Use approved cleaning solutions, solvents, brushes, hand tools, and other shop equipment as required. Safely handle and move aircraft engine parts and components. Keep parts properly organized and separated according to the assigned engine or work order. Identify and report visible damage or unusual conditions found during the cleaning process. Maintain the bead blasting equipment, cleaning area, tools, and surrounding workspace in a clean and orderly condition. Follow established shop procedures and all applicable safety requirements. Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with additional general shop duties as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic knowledge of hand tools and general shop tools is required. Must be comfortable working with mechanical parts and shop equipment. Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 65 pounds . Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding shop work. Ability to follow instructions and established procedures carefully. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous automotive, aircraft, mechanical, machine shop, or similar hands-on experience is preferred but not required. Previous bead blasting experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided on-site . Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Tools & Training:

All necessary tools and equipment will be provided by the company. On-site training will be provided for the position, including proper use of specialized cleaning and bead blasting equipment.

Work Environment:

This is a hands-on position in an aircraft engine shop. The employee will regularly work around aircraft engine components, machinery, cleaning equipment, bead blasting equipment, solvents, grease, dust, and other shop materials. Proper safety procedures and required PPE must be followed at all times.

From $18.00 per hour
