Saint Bridget School is seeking a dependable Part-Time School Custodian to help keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming for students, faculty, staff, and families. This is primarily a cleaning position and does not include building maintenance or repair responsibilities. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize student and staff restrooms. Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed. Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors. Clean hallways, stairways, entrances, and other common areas. Empty trash and recycling. Clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces. Clean cafeteria and common areas as assigned. Respond to spills and other cleaning needs during the school day. Maintain the cleanliness of entrances and high-traffic areas. Properly use and store cleaning products and equipment. Report maintenance or safety concerns to the Facilities Manager. Complete other routine cleaning duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager or requested by the Principal or Assistant Principal. Qualifications Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Attention to cleanliness and detail. Comfortable working in a school environment. Able to safely perform routine custodial duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Must complete required employment screening and Archdiocese of Boston safe-environment requirements. Schedule Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. during the school year, approximately 20 hours per week . Limited hours will be available during the summer based on school needs.

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
