A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Populist Cleaning Co. is seeking reliable, detail-oriented Cleaning Professionals to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments for our clients. If you take pride in your work, enjoy being part of a team, and want to grow your skills, we'd love to hear from you. Now hiring full-time shifts as a Mobile Cleaner. You will be assigned to buildings in Southfield, Livonia, Novi, Auburn Hills, Wixom, and Brighton. 7am - 3pm Applicants must meet requirements for company vehicle use.

Key Responsibilities:

Dust, clean, and disinfect horizontal and vertical surfaces in restrooms, offices, break rooms, and kitchenettes Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors Operate cleaning equipment such as walk-behind and ride-on scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and upright vacuums Empty trash and recycling, and properly dispose of waste Provide excellent service and respond to customer needs as required

Friendly and professional attitude Strong attention to detail and pride in your work Team player who can also work independently Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Willingness to take initiative and go above and beyond for customers Good communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to problem-solve and use good common sense

Physical Requirements:

Able to walk, stand, bend, climb, kneel, push, pull, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and perform repetitive movements as part of daily cleaning tasks
