Prime Health Environmental Services Supervisor/Manager Position Summary Prime Health Environmental Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Day Porter/Sanitation Worker to provide cleaning and sanitation services in the administrative and facilities areas of a Sysco warehouse. The employee will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, organized, and safe environment throughout assigned areas. This position requires consistent attendance, attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the ability to follow established cleaning procedures and safety requirements. Primary ResponsibilitiesAdministrative & Office Areas Clean and maintain offices, administrative areas, hallways, and common areas. Dust and wipe desks, tables, counters, doors, handles, and other appropriate surfaces. Empty trash and replace liners as needed. Sweep, mop, and maintain floors in assigned areas. Spot-clean walls, doors, glass, and other visibly soiled surfaces. Maintain cleanliness of entrances and high-traffic areas. Clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces. Restrooms & Employee Areas Clean and sanitize restrooms and restroom fixtures. Replenish restroom supplies as required. Clean sinks, counters, mirrors, partitions, and other restroom surfaces. Remove trash and maintain sanitary conditions. Clean and maintain employee/common areas according to the assigned cleaning schedule. Facilities & Support Areas Maintain cleanliness of designated facility and support areas. Clean floors and other surfaces according to established procedures. Identify and report spills, leaks, damage, maintenance concerns, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor. Assist with maintaining a clean and organized work environment throughout facility. Sanitation & Safety Responsibilities Follow Prime Health Environmental Services cleaning and sanitation procedures. Follow all applicable Sysco facility safety requirements and instructions. Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and personal protective equipment properly. Read and follow chemical labels and safety instructions. Immediately report hazardous conditions, spills, injuries, or other safety concerns to the supervisor. Maintain proper separation and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals as instructed. Follow all facility rules regarding employee safety and movement throughout the warehouse. Attendance & Reliability Because this position supports daily warehouse operations, consistent attendance and punctuality are essential .

The employee is expected to:

Report to work on time and ready to begin work at 5:00 AM. Remain at the assigned location throughout the scheduled shift unless authorized otherwise. Notify the supervisor as soon as possible regarding an absence or emergency. Maintain reliable attendance. Be available for required training and meetings. Physical Requirements The position requires the ability to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive movements. Lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment. Push and pull cleaning equipment. Perform cleaning activities throughout the assigned facility. Safely work in an active warehouse environment. Follow pedestrian and facility safety procedures around warehouse operations.

Qualifications Required:

Dependable and punctual. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and facility personnel. Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position. Ability to pass any required background screening. Ability to follow Prime Health and Sysco safety requirements. Ability to be in cold environments for long durations of time.

Preferred:

Previous commercial, industrial, warehouse, janitorial, or sanitation experience. Previous experience working in a warehouse or food-distribution environment. Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment. Work Environment This position is performed within an active warehouse and administrative/facilities environment. Employees must remain aware of their surroundings and follow all facility safety requirements. The position may require working around warehouse equipment and vehicle/pallet-jack traffic. Employees must follow designated pedestrian routes and all applicable safety procedures. Performance Expectations The successful employee is expected to: Maintain assigned areas according to the established cleaning schedule. Complete assigned duties thoroughly and consistently. Maintain professional conduct while representing Prime Health Environmental Services. Communicate cleaning, safety, supply, and maintenance concerns promptly. Work cooperatively with other Prime Health employees and Sysco personnel. Maintain a professional appearance and follow required uniform/PPE standards.

Compensation Starting Pay:

$17

•$18 per hour Opportunities for additional responsibility and advancement may be available based on performance, reliability, attendance, and demonstrated ability to perform specialized sanitation duties.
