Conduct heavy lifting tasks and manual handling of cleaning supplies, furniture, or equipment while maintaining safe lifting practices. Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting high-touch areas and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Operate various cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners to ensure optimal cleanliness. Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as repairing fixtures or applying residential painting touch-ups when necessary. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to promote a secure environment for staff and visitors. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed or hazards identified during routine cleaning. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally and maintaining a respectful attitude towards building occupants. Keep detailed records of cleaning activities, supplies used, and safety procedures followed for accountability. Skills Proven janitorial experience with a strong understanding of commercial and residential cleaning standards. Expertise in handling chemical agents safely and knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures. Proficiency with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and sanitation tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices. Excellent manual handling skills combined with attention to detail in sanitation tasks. Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills. Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures including minor repairs and custodial services. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and custodial best practices. Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously to ensure a secure working environment.
